Merit Badges ...

Prompt merit badge registration assists camp directors in ~

  • arranging for merit badge counselors and assistants,

  • planning trailhead events, and

  • purchasing accurate advancement supplies.

AdvanceCamp provides scouts with the opportunity to complete advancement begun at another scout event, to start and complete advancement with the completion of all requirements during the camp, or to begin work on and make a contact with a counselor to complete a merit badge at a later time.

  • A few merit badges may have additional fees, i.e. leatherwork or basketry kits.

  • Scouts going for the Swimming MB or Lifesaving MB must come prepared to complete all phases of water requirements during Saturday clinic, including a change of clothes.

  • All merit badges will be completed using worksheets available at U. S. Scouting Service Website, so print out the worksheets using the links on the MB worksheet page here for each merit badge you plan to work on and bring them along with you to camp.

  • Each troop is to provide scouts with blue cards for merit badge advancement and scouts should bring their merit badge books to camp.

Make sure to send your merit badge signup form early to reserve your sessions and help make the camp experience more enjoyable for all by enabling us to be prepared!

Many Merit Badges has Prerequisites that should be completed before you come to camp.  We have created  a list to help you know if the Merit Badges you are working on have any of these prerequisites.  Click this link to see the list.
